Aerpro SWHO13C Steering Wheel Control Interface for Honda City 2014 Onwards and HRV 2017 to 2021

The Aerpro SWHO13C is an analogue steering wheel control (SWC) interface engineered to suit Honda City (2014 onwards) and Honda HRV (2017 to 2021). It allows the factory steering wheel controls to continue functioning after an aftermarket head unit is installed, without cutting into the factory wiring harness. A vehicle-specific plug connects directly to the existing wiring. Phone button and voice assistant button functionality are supported where the aftermarket head unit also supports voice features.

Product overview

Replacing the factory head unit in a compatible Honda City or HRV removes the connection between the steering wheel control buttons and the audio system. The SWHO13C restores this connection using an analogue interface and SW patch lead with a vehicle-specific plug that connects directly into the existing wiring without cutting or modifying the factory loom. The aftermarket head unit must be SWC compatible, and steering wheel control functions may vary from the original OEM functions.

Phone button retention is supported. Voice assistant button functionality is supported where the aftermarket radio also supports the voice assistant feature confirm this capability with the head unit specifications before purchasing. No outputs are provided for reverse trigger, park brake, speed pulse, illumination, amplifier remote or telephone mute. OEM amplified system retention is not supported. Custom button remapping is available if the default button configuration needs to be changed a USB-C cable (sold separately) is required. Pairing with the Aerpro APP8 Headunit Secondary ISO Harness (sold separately) is recommended for a complete installation.
