The Aerpro SAGM03 is an Infolink adapter interface for the Holden Commodore VF that retains factory steering wheel controls and provides on-screen access to vehicle functions including climate control, parking sensors, and cross traffic alerts through the aftermarket head unit display. The interface also retains the OEM reverse camera input, and provides speed pulse, park brake, illumination, amp remote, and reverse trigger outputs. Software updateable for long-term use. The aftermarket head unit must have SWC compatibility and a rear camera input. Not compatible with high-definition cameras.
Replacing the factory head unit in a Holden Commodore VF without a vehicle-specific interface results in loss of steering wheel controls, climate control display, parking sensor readouts, and other OEM functions that were managed through the factory unit. The SAGM03 retains these functions and passes them through to the aftermarket head unit display, so the driver keeps access to the vehicle's built-in features while gaining the benefits of an upgraded audio system.
Steering wheel control retention covers phone button and voice assistant button compatibility in addition to standard audio controls. On-screen output covers climate control (HVAC) visualisation, parking sensor display, and cross traffic alert display via the reverse camera feed where the vehicle is equipped with those features. The OEM reverse camera is retained through the factory camera input, with PAL/NTSC auto-detection. The interface does not support high-definition cameras.
Configuration uses selectable dipswitches for setup depending on the vehicle and head unit combination. Multi-language support covers English, German, Spanish, Italian, and French. Software updates are supported for long-term reliability. Note on SWC first-time setup: on initial installation, steering wheel controls may operate incorrectly. To switch SWC mode, press the Track Down button five times quickly and the interface will change to the correct configuration.
Important installation notes:
The aftermarket head unit must be SWC compatible. Steering wheel control functions may vary from OEM functions depending on the head unit.
The aftermarket head unit requires a rear camera input for camera integration to function.
This interface is not compatible with high-definition cameras.
Do not plug the LIN-EXT connector into the video output of the SAGM03 module.
Steering wheel control retention with phone and voice assistant button support: Retains factory SWC functions including audio controls, phone button, and voice assistant button. Functions may vary from OEM depending on the head unit.
On-screen climate control and HVAC visualisation: View and adjust vehicle climate settings through the aftermarket head unit display.
Parking sensor and cross traffic alert display: Monitoring sensor readouts and cross traffic alerts appear on the head unit display via the reverse camera output (model dependent).
OEM reverse camera retention - PAL/NTSC auto-detection: Retains the factory reverse camera input with automatic PAL/NTSC format detection.
Selectable dipswitches for configuration: On-board dipswitches allow precise setup for the specific vehicle and head unit combination.
Speed pulse, park brake, reverse trigger, illumination, and amp remote outputs: Full suite of signal outputs for aftermarket head unit and amplifier integration.
Multi-language support: English, German, Spanish, Italian, and French.
Software updateable: Supports software updates for long-term reliability and performance.
Not compatible with high-definition cameras: Standard definition camera input only.

What functions does the SAGM03 retain from the factory head unit? The SAGM03 retains steering wheel controls including audio, phone button, and voice assistant button, along with climate control display, parking sensor readouts, cross traffic alert display via the reverse camera, and the OEM reverse camera input. OEM amplifier retention is also supported. Functions available depend on what the specific Commodore VF variant is equipped with.
Why are my steering wheel controls working incorrectly after first installation? On first installation, the steering wheel controls may operate in the wrong mode. Press the Track Down button on the steering wheel five times quickly and the interface will switch to the correct SWC configuration for the vehicle and head unit combination.
Does the SAGM03 work with high-definition cameras? No. The SAGM03 is not compatible with high-definition cameras. It supports standard definition OEM reverse camera input only. The aftermarket head unit must also have a rear camera input for camera integration to function.
Does my aftermarket head unit need to be SWC compatible? Yes. The aftermarket head unit must support steering wheel control integration for the SWC retention function to work. Steering wheel control functions may also vary from the OEM layout depending on the head unit used.
What is Infolink and how does it differ from a standard SWC interface? A standard steering wheel control interface only retains audio control buttons. An Infolink interface goes further, passing vehicle data such as climate control settings, parking sensor readouts, and cross traffic alerts through to the aftermarket head unit display. The SAGM03 allows the driver to retain on-screen access to factory vehicle functions that would otherwise be lost with a standard head unit replacement.
