The Aerpro FP8083KC is a black double DIN high mount install kit for the 2012 to 2015 Ford Ranger PX with the 4.2 inch factory display.

It replaces the hazard and door lock buttons from the factory unit and adds a chime speaker so warning tones and parking beeps carry on.

Problems it solves

  • Silent warning chimes after the radio comes out. The chime speaker restores them.
  • Hazard and central locking switches that live in the factory radio. New buttons are supplied.
  • Deep head units that will not clear the dash. Aerpro recommends a shallow mechless unit.

Fitment and compatibility

Only for the Ranger PX from 2012 to 2015 with the 4.2 inch display. The head unit must accept steering wheel controls, and full chassis radios may need dash trimming.

What is in the box

Black double DIN facia, metal brackets, trim ring, hazard and door lock buttons, steering wheel control interface, chime speaker, antenna adaptor and universal SWC patch lead. Add an ISO harness to suit the new stereo.

Install notes

Aerpro recommends the APP9 secondary ISO harness and SWC patch lead to join the head unit to the interface. A shallow mechless unit makes the job easier.
