Amplifier Retention Interface
The AXTOTY2 by Axxess Interface is an amplifier retention interface that allows the factory OEM amplifier to be retained in various Toyota vehicles when upgrading to an aftermarket headunit. The interface retains audio balance and fade functions and provides handbrake and reverse trigger outputs which are used when installing various aftermarket audio visual headunits.

While the interface does include a harness specifically for various Toyota Vehicles, it is not a complete plug and play solution, a number of wires need to be connected between the AXTOTY2 and the aftermarket headunit, it is recommended that wires are soldered for the best connection. This interface is also pre-wired for the AXSWC Steering Wheel Control Interface (AXSWC Sold Separately).

  • Amp Retention Interfaces vary between models, to find the correct part for your vehicle uses the Aerpro Vehicle Selector.
  • Prewired AXSWC steering wheel control interface harness (AXSWC Sold Separately).
