The Aerpro AMDMZ5 is the Bose-amplified counterpart to the AMDMZ4, designed specifically for the Mazda 3 BL (2009–2013) fitted with the factory Bose amplified audio system. Where the AMDMZ4 suits non-amplified variants, the AMDMZ5 is the correct kit for BL owners with Bose retaining the factory Bose amplifier and its speaker outputs after the head unit swap. Using the non-amplified AMDMZ4 on a Bose-equipped BL would result in loss of sound through the Bose speakers; the AMDMZ5 resolves this.

The kit adds wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, built-in DAB+ digital radio, and Bluetooth V5 to the 9" capacitive touchscreen, and retains factory steering wheel controls.
