Product Overview

The Aerpro AMDHY21 is a complete head unit upgrade kit built for the Hyundai iX35 Series 2 (2013–2015) without a factory navigation system. It replaces the factory unit with a 9" capacitive touchscreen at 1024x600 resolution, adding wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, built-in DAB+ digital radio, and Bluetooth V5. Of the iX35-specific Aerpro kits, the AMDHY21 offers the strongest factory feature retention for Series 2 models retaining steering wheel controls, the factory reverse camera (if equipped), and vehicle menu access on selected variants.

The kit includes the AM905D multimedia receiver, a matte black vehicle-specific facia kit, SWC interface harness, and a 720P AHD universal rear camera. Factory USB and AUX inputs are not retained and no external adaptor is available for this purpose on this kit. Audio is handled by 4 x 50W max output, a 13-band EQ, time alignment, and 4V/5-channel RCA preouts for amplifier integration.
