Product Overview

The Aerpro AKNI4 is a 9/10 inch installation kit engineered specifically for the Nissan Qashqai (2015-2019) and Nissan X-Trail (2015-2019) in vehicles without factory navigation. The kit includes all components required to mount a universal trapezoid shaped 9/10 inch radio into the dashboard while retaining steering wheel controls including the phone button, factory reverse camera, factory USB, and vehicle menu clock adjustments.

Compatible head units include the Pioneer DMH-AP6650BT, Kenwood DMX80AXS, Alpine INE-AW409S, INE-AX809, INE-AW409S-10 and INE-AX809-10, Aerpro AM9X and AM10X, and various Android head units. A head unit ISO harness is not included - the Aerpro APP8 Head Unit Secondary ISO Harness is recommended and sold separately. This kit does not support Pioneer CAN Bus features. On boot-up, instead of selecting CAN Bus Adapter, go to Menu and select Steering Wheel Control > With Adapter. Feature retention is radio dependent. This kit is not compatible with standard DIN or double DIN sized radios.

No. The AKNI4 does not include a head unit ISO harness. Aerpro recommends pairing this kit with the Aerpro APP8 Head Unit Secondary ISO Harness, which is sold separately. Please add the APP8 to your order to complete the installation.

Does this kit support Pioneer CAN Bus features?

No. The AKNI4 does not support Pioneer CAN Bus features. When using a Pioneer head unit, on boot-up do not select CAN Bus Adapter. Instead, go to Menu and select Steering Wheel Control > With Adapter to correctly configure the steering wheel control interface included in this kit.

Does this kit fit Nissan Qashqai or X-Trail models with factory navigation?
