Product Overview

The Aerpro AKNI2 is a 9/10 inch installation kit engineered specifically for the Nissan Navara D23 (2015-2019) in vehicles without factory navigation. The kit includes all components required to mount a universal trapezoid shaped 9/10 inch radio into the dashboard while retaining steering wheel controls including the phone button, factory reverse camera, USB input, and vehicle menu clock adjustments.

Compatible head units include the Pioneer DMH-AP6650BT, Kenwood DMX80AXS, Alpine INE-AW409S, INE-AX809, INE-AW409S-10 and INE-AX809-10, Aerpro AM9X and AM10X, and various Android head units. A head unit ISO harness is not included - the Aerpro APP8 Head Unit Secondary ISO Harness is recommended and sold separately. This kit does not support Pioneer CAN Bus features. On boot-up, instead of selecting CAN Bus Adapter, go to Menu and select Steering Wheel Control > With Adapter. Feature retention is radio dependent. This kit is not compatible with standard DIN or double DIN sized radios.

Is an ISO harness included in this kit?

No. The AKNI2 does not include a head unit ISO harness. Aerpro recommends pairing this kit with the Aerpro APP8 Head Unit Secondary ISO Harness, which is sold separately. Please add the APP8 to your order to complete the installation.

Does this kit support Pioneer CAN Bus features?

No. The AKNI2 does not support Pioneer CAN Bus features. When using a Pioneer head unit, on boot-up do not select CAN Bus Adapter. Instead, go to Menu and select Steering Wheel Control > With Adapter to correctly configure the steering wheel control interface included in this kit.

Will this kit fit a Nissan Navara with factory navigation?

No. The AKNI2 is designed for Nissan Navara D23 (2015-2019) vehicles without factory navigation. A different kit will be required for factory navigation models. Please contact us to confirm the correct kit for your vehicle.

Does this kit retain AUX input?

No. AUX input retention is not supported by the AKNI2. Only USB input retention is included via the factory USB retention harness in the kit.

Does this kit work with both 9 inch and 10 inch head units?
