Product Overview

The Aerpro AKMB6 is a 9/10 inch installation kit engineered specifically for the Mitsubishi Lancer CJ (2007-2013) in vehicles fitted with a factory Rockford Fosgate amplifier. The kit includes all components required to mount a universal trapezoid shaped 9/10 inch radio into the dashboard while retaining the factory amplifier, steering wheel controls including the phone button, AUX input, and factory reverse camera if the vehicle is equipped with one.

Compatible head units include the Pioneer DMH-AP6650BT, Kenwood DMX80AXS, Alpine INE-AW409S, INE-AX809, INE-AW409S-10 and INE-AX809-10, Aerpro AM9X and AM10X, and various Android head units. A head unit ISO harness is not included - the Aerpro APP8 Head Unit Secondary ISO Harness is recommended and sold separately. This kit does not support Pioneer CAN Bus features. On boot-up, instead of selecting CAN Bus Adapter, go to Menu and select Steering Wheel Control > With Adapter. Please note the vehicle menu is not visual - amplifier audio and fade settings are adjustable from the steering wheel controls with an audible beep confirmation only. Feature retention is radio dependent. This kit is not compatible with standard DIN or double DIN sized radios.

No. The AKMB6 does not include a head unit ISO harness. Aerpro recommends pairing this kit with the Aerpro APP8 Head Unit Secondary ISO Harness, which is sold separately. Please add the APP8 to your order to complete the installation.
