The WRS 16.2 2-way coax loudspeaker has been specially designed for marine use or applications in humid areas and is extremely tough and moisture-resistant in addition to delivering the obligatory excellent sound performance. The loudspeaker complies with both the IPX 6 standard and the ASTM B117 standard, which certifies resistance to salt water, making it the ideal partner at sea.

In addition, the speaker, which has an installation depth of just 60 mm, is not troubled by UV radiation. The coated polypropylene membrane of the woofer, with a dynamic surround for high efficiency, and the polycarbonate tweeter are protected by an integrated designer loudspeaker grille and are fitted in a sturdy ABS cage. The drive is taken care of by an internal high-power ferrite magnet system.
