Auto-Connect DSTART is a starter kit with four sheets of 2.2mm thick butyl rubber mat and one sheet of 10mm sound absorption foam. The material is enough for one or two doors, depending on how effective damping you want to achieve. Solid butyl rubber sheets with a thickness of 2.2mm are made from newly manufactured butyl rubber pulp - instead of recycled. Auto-Connect has made this choice to ensure the absolute best damping ability. The starter kit also includes a sheet of sound-absorbing foam with a convex surface structure to reduce standing waves twice as effectively compared to a completely flat material or mats with a more egg-carton-like surface.
