Android PhoneLink
The VRN-7HB also includes Android MHL PhoneLink mobile device integration. PhoneLink enables complete control of select Android smartphones from the touchscreen. No special cables are required; use the charging cable that came with your device. Conveniently launch any application, play your own videos, and all other content. Your smart device display is mirrored to the head unit’s larger LCD screen via a simple USB connection. Android MHL PhoneLink ensures the safe, hands-free operation of devices without distraction.

The hands-free profile dials & receives calls & displays call logs, the Phone book access profile displays caller info & contacts, the Audio remote enables playback controls, and the Advanced audio distribution profile streams audio wirelessly.

Soundstream DVD drives playback traditional DVD movies and MP4 and Xvid/Divx video files from DVD-R discs. CD-only products playback traditional CDs, as well as MP3 and WMA audio files from CD-R discs.

Offering 7 color combinations, the RGB lighting feature allows the user to customize the color illumination for buttons and other faceplate accents. Match the receiver’s illumination to the vehicle’s interior lighting or create a color to fit any mood.
